Which made me think of that nice 15mm range by Peter Pig... and now your post... I really need to learn how to stay focused... :-)

Great reading!DestoFantehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01494137805021399084noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30139647.post-57489285406636396252008-11-27T23:30:00.000-08:002008-11-27T23:30:00.000-08:00Excellent "High Plains Drifter" & &q...Excellent "High Plains Drifter" & "Unforgiven" appeal for that set up Jeff.
I can see The Duke, Little Bob & will Munny now, guns blazing.marinergrimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01393687295535460527noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30139647.post-90942328853185528082008-11-27T13:55:00.000-08:002008-11-27T13:55:00.000-08:00They look quite good, very authentic methinks! You ...They look quite good, very authentic methinks!

You could slap on a bunch of red paint... ;-)

Or, more seriously, I've seen places like MicroMark selling some stuff for weathering wood. It's suposed to make it look like real aged wood, you know, the gray stuff. Maybe some additional paint to add detail. Another option might be whitewash.Fitz-Badgerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15510866929782142007noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30139647.post-82795175422118250412008-11-27T13:30:00.000-08:002008-11-27T13:30:00.000-08:00Prinz Geoffrey,They are not painted. What you see...Prinz Geoffrey,

They are not painted. What you see is the natural color of the balsa and other wood.

The shingles are the color of the cardboard.

I'm actually of a couple of different minds as to whether to paint them or not. I kind of like them as they are . . . but the wood would have aged very quickly, so they probably should get paint.

-- JeffBluebear Jeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07595975572873838050noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30139647.post-79023130517018128192008-11-27T13:19:00.000-08:002008-11-27T13:19:00.000-08:00Nice buildings Jeff. I'm a big fan of those turned toothpicks and I've used them for everything from lances to tiny cannons for a set of little wood iron clads still on the back burner to bits of table leg debris for 15mm FOW Stalingrad terrain boards. Very cool!

--Davelittlejohnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02469282002961211617noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-30139647.post-28023462011268124772008-11-27T09:16:00.000-08:002008-11-27T09:16:00.000-08:00Hi Jeff,Excellent looking buildings!
