Dragoon Uniforms for Saxe-Bearstein
Here are the first two Dragoon units that the Saxe-Bearstein army will muster.
The "red" dragoons are the Wildschwein Dragoons; while the "green" dragoons are the Edelbrau Dragoons.
David of "Not by Appointment", are you happy now?

Happier, certainly, thanks. ;-) But I am a little surprised that the looted origin of the uniforms and shabraques shows with the Hanoverian running horse still evident... :-)
David.
David,
Sadly that is true . . . but they were not looted. No, they came from the supplier that way. He was very familiar with the symbol of Saxe-Bearstein but apparently felt that riders on horses should have a horse on their equipment to remind them that they were not in the infantry.

On the contrary, I thought cavalrymen needing regular reminders that they are *not* godlike and are in fact only human - their attitude to infantrymen tends to be superior at all times! I suspect the supplier is trying to "pull a fast one" and has probably looted the uniforms from the Hanoverians himself; he's probably in league with brigands... :-)
David.
Hi Jeff,
I like those yellow dragoon uniforms!
Best Regards,
Stokes
Hi Jeff,
One of your Croats has turned up in Tippelbruder. ;-)
David.
To speak of the (Vile) Enemy:
I hope some regiments kept (as battalion colors) their old Eaglian flags: to neat and beautiful to wasted.
