CT Scan Today --
In about an hour I will head to Hospital for a CT scan to see if or how far my cancer has spread. Of course I won't know the results today . . . but at least it is a step forward.
Aw hell Jeff. Only just seen last week's post. I'm so sorry to hear your bad news. But as a couple of other posters have said, getting the diagnosis is the first step towards getting treated. Knowing really is half the battle.
You and your good lady are in our thoughts and prayers.

The best of luck, Jeff. I've found through dealing with my mom-in-law's cancer, for her not knowing is scarier than dealing with a known quantity.
Yeah, AJ. That's true.
Well I'm back from the CT scan and they said it is likely that I'll hear from my doctor sometime next week.

I'll hope for the best for you Jeff. There'll be another battle report to hopefully distract you for a few minutes tomorrow evening.
Best wishes, Jeff!

Wishing the best for you.
Bon courage, Jeff!
It is an intimidating step, I'm sure but as AJ says, knowledge is power here. Its is the first opportunity to gain some control over the situation.
Best wishes and good luck!
